Day 1 : (Haridwar to Barkot – Begin the Journey into the Himalayan Foothills (173 kms / 05 - 06 hrs)
Start off the tour with the pickup from Haridwar and then drive to Barkot via the scenic route. The total distance to cover on this route is roughly 173 km and will take about 5-6 hours of time. On arrival at Barkot, proceed to check in at the booked hotel and then take some rest for the next day’s visit to Yamunotri.

Day 2 : (Barkot to Yamunotri – Complete the Sacred Temple Journey (36 kms drive & 06 kms Trek “one sideâ€)
Start your tour to the Yamunotri temple from Barkot. The total distance to 36 km of road travel, and after this you have to 6 km one-way trek to reach the temple. Once done, you can come back to Barkot via the same route for an overnight stay. This is the section that involves the most trekking, so wear proper footwear.

Day 3 : (Barkot to Uttarkashi – Shift Base Towards Gangotri (100 kms / 05 hrs)
Have your breakfast and then start off from Barkot for Uttarkashi. The approximate distance to cover is about 100 km and takes around 5 hours. Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check in at the hotel and relax for the night.

Day 4 : (Uttarkashi to Gangotri – Seek Blessings at the Sacred Temple (200 kms both side / 06 to 07 hrs)
Day four will be reserved for Gangotri Temple. Proceeding from Uttarkashi to Gangotri, one needs to visit the temple before returning to Uttarkashi. This particular 200 km for the round trip, which should take 6–7 hours of travelling. Spend a night at Uttarkashi.

Day 5 : (Uttarkashi to Haridwar – Complete the Two-Dham Pilgrimage (173 kms / 05 - 06 hrs)
After visiting both Yamunotri and Gangotri, start the final trip to Haridwar. The total distance will be around 173 km and will take about 5–6 hours. Once you get to Haridwar, the tour is over and people may proceed home.
