Overview
The Gangotri With Gaumukh Trek Package combines a visit to the sacred Gangotri Dham with a Himalayan trekking experience towards Gaumukh. The journey takes travellers through Haridwar and Uttarkashi before reaching Gangotri, from where the trek continues towards Bhojbasa and the Gaumukh region.
This 7 days 6 nights trip has been made to suit those tourists who would like to witness not only the sanctity of Gangotri but also the nature of the upper Ganga region. It comprises of road travel, trekking and camping at some destinations.

Exclusions
1. Personal expenses for traveling to Delhi prior to the pick-up time

4. Porters for personal luggage unless specially mentioned
5. Pony or any other trekking help hired by the client
6. Excess night stays other than the pre-decided six nights
7. Extra food and drink apart from the provided meals
8. Personal purchases, laundry, telephone, or any other charges in the room
9. Expenses relating to medical attention, emergencies, and evacuations
10. Travel accident or health insurance
11. Any expense incurred due to extension of tour
12. Any activity not specifically mentioned under inclusions
 
Important Notes
1. This journey includes the elements of both pilgrimage and trekking; therefore, one needs to be ready for long walks in mountainous areas.
2. The trekking towards Gaumukh will be unlike any temple tour, and you will need to prepare yourself for a trekking day.
3. Take light trekking backpack and pack everything that you will need during your trekking and stay in a tent.
4. You need to choose shoes with good traction and ankle protection for mountain trekking.
5. Take clothes according to the weather; it may change in Gangotri area during the day.
6. Have access to your medicine, passport and other necessary items.
7. Keep all documentation, mobile phones and other electronics dry during the trekking part.
8. Adhere to the guidelines issued by the local government and the trekking guides concerning the trail movement.
9. Trekking time could vary according to weather conditions, trails, and local restrictions.
10. It is recommended not to engage in any strenuous personal activity immediately after your return from the Gaumukh trek.
11. Travelers need to drink enough water and rest adequately while trekking for long distances.
12. The schedule could be changed according to road conditions, weather, and other operational requirements.
13. Check the final hotel, food, and transport plans from the booking voucher before leaving.

  • Day 1 : (Begin the Journey From Delhi and Continue Towards Haridwar (230 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)

    The tour will start with picking you up from Delhi and proceeding on a road trip to Haridwar. The route will cover a distance of about 230 kilometers and takes roughly 6 to 7 hours of travel time. Once you reach Haridwar, check into your hotel for relaxation.

  • Day 2 : (Travel From Haridwar to Uttarkashi Through the Himalayan Route (201 km / 07 - 08 hrs)

    Leave Haridwar and proceed towards Uttarkashi. The journey covers approximately 201 km and takes around 7–8 hours. After reaching Uttarkashi, check in and rest for the evening before beginning the Gangotri and Gaumukh section of the trip.

  • Day 3 : (Visit Gangotri Dham and Begin the Trek Towards Bhojbasa (103 kms / 03 hrs

    Travel from Uttarkashi to Gangotri Dham, covering around 103 km in approximately 3 hours. After visiting the sacred temple, continue towards Bhojbasa and begin the trekking section of the itinerary. Bhojbasa becomes the overnight base for the Gaumukh exploration planned for the following day.

  • Day 4 : (Explore the Gaumukh Region From Bhojbasa and Return (08 kms trek

    Devote the whole day to the Gaumukh trekking trip. The schedule comprises 8 kilometers of trekking distance that will be covered in the intended exploration trip from Bhojbasa. Once done with the trekking path for the day, move back to Bhojbasa and stay overnight.

  • Day 5 : (Trek Back From Bhojbasa and Drive Towards Uttarkashi (14 kms trek & 103 kms Drive)

    Begin the return journey from the trekking base towards Uttarkashi. The day's plan includes approximately 14 km of trekking followed by 103 km of road travel. After reaching Uttarkashi, check in and take time to recover after the extended walking section.

  • Day 6 : (Leave Uttarkashi and Return to Haridwar (201 km / 07 - 08 hrs)

    After breakfast, start the drive from Uttarkashi towards Haridwar. The road journey covers approximately 201 km and takes around 7–8 hours. On reaching Haridwar, complete the scheduled check-in and rest before the final departure.

  • Day 7 : (Travel From Haridwar to Delhi for Your Final Departure (230 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)

    On the last day of the trip, return to Delhi from Haridwar, which is around 230 km away and will take around 6-7 hours to reach there. After arriving at Delhi, the tour concludes by dropping at the airport/railway station/bus station.
