Pilgrimage starts after reaching Delhi, which is followed by the pick up for Haridwar, which would take a distance of about 230 kilometers, taking six to seven hours. It is from Haridwar that the pilgrimage starts its route in the Himalayas and provides a chance for travellers to settle down before the journey starts.

Day 2 : (Haridwar to Barkot and Entry Into the Mountain Circuit (179 km / 07 hrs 55 min)
The second day takes the journey away from the plains and towards Barkot. Approximately 179 km are covered, with the listed travel time being around seven hours and 55 minutes. As the landscape changes along the route, Barkot becomes the overnight base for the upcoming Yamunotri pilgrimage.

Day 3 : (Yamunotri Temple Journey With a 6 km Trek (34 kms drive & 06 kms Trek one side)
Yamunotri is the first Dham on the itinerary. The route includes approximately 34 km of road travel before the trekking section begins. The listed trek is around 6 km one way. After the temple visit, the group returns to Barkot, completing the first major pilgrimage stage of the journey.

A longer road journey awaits as the itinerary connects Uttarkashi with Guptkashi. The distance is approximately 199.6 km and the listed driving time is six to seven hours. Guptkashi is an important stop on the route because the next stage of the pilgrimage moves towards Kedarnath.

Day 7 : (Guptkashi to Kedarnath With a Long Trekking Section (30 kms by road & 20 kms trek)

After the Kedarnath temple experience, the route reverses towards Guptkashi. The return arrangement again includes approximately 20 km of trekking and around 30 km by road. Reaching Guptkashi completes the Kedarnath portion and provides an overnight break before the journey moves towards the Badrinath side.

The ninth day shifts the focus towards the final Dham. Approximately 163.2 km separates Guptkashi from Pandukeshwar, with the journey listed at around five hours and 30 minutes. Pandukeshwar serves as the next halt, placing the group closer to Badrinath for the following day's temple visit.
