Day 1 : (Join the Organised Journey and Begin the Uttarakhand Route (230 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)
Travellers coming from Vadodara arrive at the prearranged meeting point based on their scheduled tours. After all the necessary arrangements for the group and the vehicle have been made, the travellers set out for Uttarakhand. In the first leg, the main objective is to travel for the first part of the distance to the destination for an overnight stay.
-
Day 2 : (Reach Barkot and Settle Into the First Pilgrimage Base (179 km / 07 hrs 55 min)
Proceed towards Barkot, which serves as the base for the Yamunotri portion of the journey. The landscape changes progressively as the route moves towards the Himalayan region. After reaching Barkot, check into the arranged accommodation and take time to relax. This is also a useful opportunity to separate the items required for the next day's temple visit and walking route from the rest of the luggage.
-
Day 3 : (Experience the Yamunotri Pilgrimage and Return to Barkot (34 kms drive & 06 kms Trek “one sideâ€)
Start the day for Yamunotri, travelling by vehicle up to the permitted road point before continuing through the trekking section. The route to the temple involves approximately 6 km of walking one way, so travellers should keep water, comfortable footwear and personal essentials readily available. Complete the planned darshan and return towards Barkot after the pilgrimage. The night is spent at Barkot, providing time to recover before the next transfer.
-
Day 4 : (Leave Barkot and Shift the Journey Towards Uttarkashi (80 kms / 03 hrs drive)
The next stage takes travellers from Barkot to Uttarkashi, moving the pilgrimage closer to the Gangotri region. The road journey passes through mountain terrain and smaller settlements along the route. After reaching Uttarkashi, check into the accommodation and use the remaining part of the day for rest. Keeping the evening relaxed is useful because the following day involves travel towards Gangotri and back.
-
Day 5 : (Travel to Gangotri for Darshan and Return to Uttarkashi (240 kms / 06 hrs)
Depart from Uttarkashi for Gangotri, following the mountain road towards the second Dham. Unlike the major trekking sections of Yamunotri and Kedarnath, the Gangotri visit is primarily approached through the road route. After reaching the temple area, complete the scheduled darshan and spend the planned time at the destination. Later, return to Uttarkashi for the overnight halt.
-
Day 6 : (Cross the Himalayan Route Towards Guptkashi (199.6 kms / 06 - 07 hrs drive)
Leave Uttarkashi and begin the longer transfer towards Guptkashi. This day connects the Gangotri section with the upcoming Kedarnath stage and is largely dedicated to road travel. The changing mountain scenery makes the journey part of the overall experience, but travellers should also expect a substantial amount of time on the road. After reaching Guptkashi, settle into the accommodation and prepare the essentials for Kedarnath.
-
Day 7 : (Complete the Kedarnath Pilgrimage Through the Trekking Route (30 kms by road & 20 kms trek)
Begin the journey towards Kedarnath from the designated road-access point. After completing the vehicle portion, continue towards the temple through the mountain trekking route. The Kedarnath section includes an approximately 20 km trek, making it one of the most physically demanding stages of the itinerary. Complete the planned darshan and follow the overnight or return arrangements specified in the confirmed tour schedule.
-
Day 8 : (Move Out of the Kedarnath Region and Halt at Pandukeshwar (30 kms by road & 20 kms trek)
After completing the Kedarnath visit, begin the return movement towards the road-access point. The journey then continues towards Pandukeshwar, creating a separate stage between Kedarnath and Badrinath. This halt is particularly useful after the demanding Kedarnath section, as travellers get time to rest instead of immediately combining another major temple visit with the return journey.
-
Day 9 : (Visit Badrinath and Begin the Final Return Route (163.2 km / 05 hrs 30 min)
Travel from Pandukeshwar towards Badrinath, the final Dham covered in the Char Dham circuit. After reaching the destination, complete the scheduled temple visit and spend the allotted time at the pilgrimage site. Once the Badrinath portion is completed, begin the return journey towards Srinagar. The overnight stay here marks the transition from the main pilgrimage circuit to the final journey back towards Haridwar.
-
Day 10 : (Travel From Srinagar to Haridwar and Conclude the Tour (21 km + 165 kms / 06 hrs drive)
The final day begins with the scheduled departure from Srinagar. Travel towards Haridwar, gradually leaving the higher mountain areas behind. By this stage, the four-Dham pilgrimage has been completed, and the remaining journey is primarily a return transfer. On arrival at the designated Haridwar drop-off point, the organised tour concludes and travellers can continue with their onward plans.
