Day 1 : (Delhi Arrival and Transfer Towards Haridwar (220 kms / 04 hrs 55 min)

Day 2 : (Haridwar to Barkot Through the Mountain Gateway (179 kms / 07 hrs 55 min)
After Haridwar, the route gradually leaves the plains and enters the Himalayan landscape. The drive to Barkot covers around 179 km and takes approximately 7 hours 55 minutes. Barkot provides the overnight base for the first major pilgrimage excursion, giving travellers time to prepare for the Yamunotri visit.

Day 3 : (Yamunotri Dham Visit With Trekking (34 kms drive & 06 kms Trek one side)
The first sacred destination comes into focus today. The itinerary includes approximately 34 km of road travel followed by a 6 km one-way trek to Yamunotri. After completing the temple visit and exploring the surrounding pilgrimage area, travellers retrace the route and return to Barkot for the night.

Day 4 : (Barkot to Uttarkashi and a New Himalayan Base (80 kms / 03 hrs drive)
This stage now moves toward Uttarkashi, which involves an approximate distance of 80 kilometres by road, taking about three hours. Due to the reduced distance involved, there is no additional trekking involved and only a move from one pilgrimage route to the other through driving.

Day 5 : (Gangotri Excursion and Return to Uttarkashi (240 kms / 06 hrs)
Today is dedicated to the second Char Dham. The excursion to Gangotri covers approximately 240 km in total and takes around six hours according to the published itinerary. After the temple visit, travellers return to Uttarkashi rather than changing their overnight base, keeping the following day's transfer organised.

Day 6 : (Uttarkashi to Guptkashi Before the Kedarnath Leg (199.6 kms / 06 - 07 hrs drive)
The itinerary now moves towards Guptkashi, with nearly 200 km of mountain roads separating the two destinations. The journey is expected to take around six to seven hours. Guptkashi serves as the staging point for the Kedarnath pilgrimage and provides a pause before the most physically demanding day of the route.

Day 7 : (Kedarnath Pilgrimage With an Extended Trek (60 kms by road & 40 kms trek
Kedarnath forms the third major spiritual stop and one of the toughest travel days. The published plan includes around 60 km of road travel and approximately 40 km of trekking for the onward and return journey. Travellers complete the Kedarnath Darshan before returning to the Guptkashi side of the route.

Day 8 : (Guptkashi to Pandukeshwar Across the Himalayan Route (163.2 km / 05 hrs 30 min)
Upon completing the Kedarnath part of the journey, the path then leads to Pandukeshwar. The distance to be covered is about 163.2 km, and the time required is about 5 and a half hours. This movement will bring the pilgrims to the area of Badrinath.

Day 9 : (Badrinath Darshan Followed by Srinagar Transfer (21 km + 165 kms / 06 hrs drive)
The fourth and final Dham is covered today. Travellers visit Badrinath Temple before continuing towards Srinagar. The itinerary lists approximately 21 km around the Badrinath sector followed by another 165 km towards Srinagar, with around six hours of driving.

Day 10 : (Srinagar to Haridwar for the Return Journey (129.2 Km / 03 hrs 11 min)
The Himalayan circuit begins winding down as the journey continues from Srinagar to Haridwar. The listed distance is approximately 129.2 km, with an estimated travel time of three hours and 11 minutes. After reaching Haridwar, travellers prepare for the final transfer towards Delhi.

Day 11 : (Haridwar to Delhi and Tour Completion (230 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)
The last day sees Haridwar linked to Delhi, which is about 230 kilometres and takes roughly six to seven hours to complete. Passengers can be dropped either at the Delhi airport, railway station or bus depot to end the Char Dham pilgrimage tour.
