Overview
The Char Dham Yatra Package From Bhopal is a tour plan for those intending to undertake a spiritual odyssey by visiting the four shrines in Uttarakhand—namely, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The package brings together travellers from Bhopal to join the pilgrimage route in Delhi and then move towards Haridwar, followed by the mountain towns of Uttarakhand.
The tour includes both visiting temples and driving through mountains as well as stops overnight at select points enroute. Rather than just going from one Dham to the next, the tour plan involves making stops at points like Barkot, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, Pandukeshwar, and Srinagar. This is a planned tour covering all the four Dhams and at the same time giving enough time for the trekking parts of the tour at Yamunotri and Kedarnath.

  • Day 1 : (Reach Delhi From Bhopal and Proceed Towards Haridwar (179 kms / 07 hrs 55 min)

Travel to Delhi from Bhopal and meet the tour guide at Delhi for your onward journey. Travel by road from Delhi to Haridwar, which is the entrance point for the pilgrims heading to the Himalayas. Once in Haridwar, check into the hotel and rest. If time allows, travelers can visit the ghats of Ganga in the evening before starting their mountain trip the next morning.

  • Day 2 : (Haridwar to Barkot Through the Himalayan Foothills (34 kms drive & 06 kms Trek “one side”)

Following breakfast, travel to Barkot via Haridwar. The road steadily takes us out of the plains and enters the hills zone, thus making it the first significant journey through the mountains on our pilgrimage trip. Upon reaching Barkot, do the hotel check-in procedure and have an easy day. An easy day is always useful ahead of an early start to Yamunotri.

  • Day 3 : (Yamunotri Temple Visit With Trekking Route and Return (80 kms/3 hrs drive)

Start the journey early in the morning and head toward the Yamunotri path. Once you reach the road-head, proceed to the temple by foot. This is a distance of around 6 kilometers, one-way. • Day 4 : (Barkot to Uttarkashi With a Restful Evening (240 kms / 06 hrs)

Depart from Barkot after breakfast and proceed to Uttarkashi. In contrast to some of the longer mountain transfers, this is a comparatively shorter day of travel. After reaching Uttarkashi, you need to check in and then spend some time resting. The place is the starting point of tomorrow's journey to Gangotri, hence making the day comfortable is beneficial for the travelers.

  • Day 5 : (Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back to the Overnight Halt (199.6 kms / 06 - 07 hrs drive)

Start your journey from Uttarkashi to Gangotri after having breakfast. The journey route will lead you through the Himalayan terrain until you arrive at Gangotri. • Day 6 : (Uttarkashi to Guptkashi on the Kedarnath Route (30 kms by road & 20 kms trek)

The schedule proceeds to the area of Kedarnath. Having breakfast, start the road trip from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi. The trip involves traveling through mountain valleys on windy roads and is one of the most crucial parts in the transition from the Gangotri to the Kedarnath areas of the pilgrimage. Reach Guptkashi, settle into the accommodation and rest for the next day's demanding journey.

  • Day 7 : (Guptkashi to Kedarnath With the Main Trek (30 kms by road & 20 kms trek)

Today is one of the most significant stops of the Yatra. Traveling to Kedarnath via road from Guptkashi, and proceed on to the trekking path allocated for this trip. This Yatra will require a long trek of about 20 kilometers. On reaching Kedarnath, go to the temple for darshan. The night is spent at Kedarnath according to the confirmed accommodation arrangement.

  • Day 8 : (Kedarnath Return Journey and Overnight Stay at Guptkashi (163.2 km / 05 hrs 30 min)

Post the visit to Kedarnath, proceed with the returning part of your trip. The trekking part will be taken up once again before proceeding on the road to Guptkashi. After reaching there, check into your hotel and rest after a day of trekking. This break will help you prepare yourself for the next trip to Badrinath region.

  • Day 9 : (Guptkashi to Pandukeshwar Along the Badrinath Route (21 km + 165 kms / 06 hrs drive)

Once breakfast is done, head on to Pandukeshwar. You will be taken through another part of Uttarakhand’s mountainous terrain, coming closer to Badrinath as a result. After reaching Pandukeshwar, get settled into your lodging for the night and keep the evening free. This overnight halt provides a break before the final major Dham visit.

  • Day 10 : (Badrinath Darshan Followed by Journey to Srinagar (199.2 Km / 06 hrs 11 min)

Start your journey to Badrinath post breakfast and have darshan at the temple. Spend some time around the pilgrimage site before moving to Srinagar. After paying a visit to Badrinath, the journey starts to head back to the lower Himalayas. Arrive at Srinagar and spend the night there.

  • Day 11 : Srinagar to Haridwar as the Return Leg Begins (121.2 Km / 03 hrs 11 min
