The 5 Days Char Dham Yatra By Helicopter brings together the four sacred pilgrimage destinations of Uttarakhand — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — in a compact five-day travel plan. Designed around helicopter transportation, the journey reduces the amount of time spent travelling through long mountain routes and allows more focus on the temple visits.
The pilgrimage involves flights as well as local arrangements necessary at the various destinations. Four nights of travel is required for one to travel through the Char Dham circuit without having to change the accommodations booked within the package. The current package page indicates that hotel bookings, sightseeing, transportation, and meals are available.

4. Gifts, offerings in the temples, and individually sought religious ceremonies.
5. Use of pony, palki, porter, or any other assistance unless included separately.
6. Cost of personal medicines, consultation, and treatment.
7. Travel insurance, unless expressly mentioned in the booking.
8. Extra expenditure due to personal alteration of the itinerary.
9. Overnight and food expenses due to any extension beyond the tour package.
10. Any activity, facility, and service not expressly mentioned as included in the package.

1. Helicopter services are based on weather, visibility, flight, and operational clearance.
2. The travel schedule can be altered depending on the situation of the operations.
3. The passenger needs to abide by the luggage and weight requirements of the helicopter service.
4. Ensure to carry a photo ID throughout the journey.
5. Have access to your medicine and other frequently used personal stuff.
6. Helicopter travel does not exclude all walking parts; walking might still be necessary after landing.
7. Entry into temples and darshan are guided by the regulations of the concerned temple authorities.
8. It is important to arrive at the place of boarding at the right time as provided by the operator.

Make sure that you visit Yamunotri Temple for darshan and then come back as per the schedule for the particular day. The further journey would depend on the helicopter arrangements made.

  • Day 3 : Proceed Towards Gangotri and Visit the Sacred Temple

    Continue the pilgrimage towards Gangotri on the third day. After reaching the designated landing point, proceed towards Gangotri Temple using the arranged local transportation or walking route. Complete the temple visit and spend some time in the surrounding area if the schedule permits. Later, return to the designated stay or continue towards the next location according to the final tour plan.

  • Day 4 : Travel Towards Kedarnath for Darshan

    The fourth day involves travel to Kedarnath, which is among the most important pilgrimage spots in the Himalayas. The use of helicopters ensures that the lengthy road trip required for the trip to Kedarnath is avoided. After landing at the designated helipad, follow the prescribed local arrangements to reach Kedarnath Temple. Complete darshan and return according to the instructions provided by the tour team.

  • Day 5 : Visit Badrinath and Complete the Char Dham Yatra
