But, from October to mid of May is the best time to explore this part of India. At high altitude regions such as Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh receive heavy snowfalls. Which leads to the emperature drops till subzero degrees. But on the other hand, in the plains of North East India which includes Assam, Tripura, and Mizoram experiences the chilly and pleasant weather during this time. temperatures are between Between 0°C and 22°C. North East post- COVID-19 Guidelines

Here are the guidelines to visit each of these states under the COVID-19 Tourist Guide.

  1. Make sure to have a Final Vaccination Certificate/RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours.
  2. Necessary  Rapid Antigen Test on Arrival, if you do not have the vaccination certificate or RT-PCR report.
  3. Just In case if RAT is negative, you will need to undergo an RT-PCR test, costing INR 250. 
  4. But, If  your report is positive then you will be shifted in insulation. 
  5. If the report is negative, you can continue to explore while strictly following the Covid-19 protocols. 
  6. And if you're entering from any other state, you will need a negative test report.
